Dear Friends

I am a bit confused regaring the mantra for the 12 Mukhi.

In the book which was sent by rudra centre it tells you to say the

mantra " Om Kraum ksaum Raum Namah" 5 times when you remove and put

the rudraksha on. May not have spelt the mantra correctly.

But, in the web site it tells you to say "Sree Suryay NamahOm krow

(ing) Kshow(ing) Row(ing) Namah.

Please can you guide me what i should say when i put and remove the

12 mukhi rudraksha and also what i should chant for the 12 mukhi with

the 108 japa mala.

Many thanks.

Om Namah Shivai

namaste vandana,

12 mukhi is lord surya's bead so if you wish to invoke lord surya's

blessings, then mantra to use is surya's mantra Om shri Suryay namah.

'Om krom kshom rom namah' is what we call bija/beeja mantra or seed

mantra. This invokes lord surya and the 12 adityas too.

Alternatively, all rudraksha beads can be invoked simply by saying:

Om namah shivaya shivaya namah om

Repeat the above 3 times before putting on personal mala or 12 mukhi

bead or other beads or pendants. Shiva's mantra encompasses all

beads and transcends all.

For japa to a specific deity, saguna mantras are better used for

beginners; i.e. this is called 'god-realization' mantra; it is when

you visualise the deity in your mind's eye or third eye chakra/ ajna

chakra while chanting mantra to a specific deity.

hope this makes sense..

Ommmmmm

much love & blessings,

Simone
