Hi,

Here is the mantra for vashikran yantra.

"Om Lakeem Lakeem mum vashyam kuru kuru Swaha"

Can somebody tell me..

what is the meaning of "lakeem"?

What is the meaning of "mum" and how we pronounce?

How do we pronounce "vashyam"?

Can we replace 'swaha' with 'namha'.

thanks

Dear Bikramjit Ji

Do you have a temple nearby where you can speak with a priest about this

mantra......there is a website www.littleindia.com and www.hindumandir.com that

have temple information on them if a temple is not close to you........is really

difficult to try and teach correct pronounciation on email and I dont have

faintest idea what this mantra means literally or what it is trying to

convey......a hindu priest would most likely know all this

If I had to transliterate this I would go to the Sanskrit English Dictionary

by Monier and Williams or go online to a Sanskrit Online Dictionary and find

meaning of each word

Problem with this is that sometimes there are many different meanings for

same word in Sanskrit depending on how it is used so not only does a person need

to know what the word means.......they also have to know how it is used in the

context of the sentenc and again a hindu priest could tell you this

hope this helps

Thanks

DD
