Guest guest
Namaste Bikramjit, KSHRAUM ------- This is the bija of Narasimha, a very fierce half man half lion incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Ksha is Narasimha, ra is Brahma, au means with teeth pointing upwards, and bindu means dispeller of sorrow. The science of Mantra is very complex. There are even Mantras for such specific purposes as curing snake bite and chronic disease, but these are of a lower order. In the modern world, the power of gross sound vibration is just beginning to be utilized in physical therapy, and its potential is being tapped in other fields. The ancient Indian sages had this sophistication thousands of years ago. They have used sound in its gross and subtle states to penetrate the planes of human consciousness and to reach the divine vibration that is the experience of God. Beginning in OM and dissolving in OM, the Mantra comes full cycle. "Raum is a shortened derivation from Kshraum". Ommmmmmm...... Guest guest
Dear Syji DharmaDev answering from moderator email............Thanks for answering this message for Bikramjitji..........maybe we can clarify something about the Mantra Bikramjitji is asking about so the group knows better what we are dealing with Yes agreed the Mantra Kshraum is the bija of Lord Narasimha however we were trying to find out the Mantra Aum Kraum Ksaum Raum Namah for the 12 Lord Surya Bead There are 3 Bija Mantras for the Lord Surya Rudraksa that I have only seen in the Shiva Purana and really dont know what they mean Kraum with aspirated m Ksaum with Sibilant Cerebral s and aspirated m Raum with aspirated m These are all bij Mantras that contain the Pranava or Okaara Om that may have been spelled Aom in the beginning and then changed to Aum and also today spelled as as Om In these Mantras they are useing Kr with aum then Ks with aum the r with aum all with specificly different meanings Shiva Puran is really clear about the diacritical marks on the Devanagari Letters in these Bij Mantras and the S in Ksaum has the dot below the s meaning it is the sibilant s with a hard sound or that is also pronounced as the cereberal s with tongue held lightly at forward roof of mouth As we know there are 3 of the S letters in Devanagari Printed Language one is the Sh sound with diacritical mark as a slash above the S the next is the hard Cerebral S sound with the dot below the S third is the S that is sounded as S or Sa if printed as a single letter The S in Ksraum has a dot below the s so there is no sh sound in this mantra Each letter in the Devanagari Alphabet has a meaning or multiple meanings so what I am seeing here is a single Devanagari Letter or a combination Devanagari Letter that is placed in front of the Pranava Aum So I am thinking if we can find the meaning of combination letter Kr or Kra then the meaning of combination letter Ks or Ksa with hard cerebral s the the meaning of single letter Ra we might be able to find out the intent or meaning of entire mantra sequece What do you think about this Thanks and Take Care Mitra DharmaDev , "Simone" <syzenith> wrote: > > Namaste Bikramjit, > > KSHRAUM > ------- > This is the bija of Narasimha, a very fierce half man half lion > incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
