What happens if we change the specified (according to Scripts) nu mber of beads

Hi,

I was reading book on rudraksha from rudra center. It mentioned about number

of beads to be worn on specific part of body.

What happens if we change that number. Does the number has any bearing on

the effects. For example it says wear

11 or 12 rudraksha on wrist. First of all nobody ever gave me a precise

answer that what exactly is the number of beads has

been specified by ancient scripts. What happens if I wear 13 rudraksha on

wrist.
