Guest guest
Dear friends - Mars and Saturn for red and black is appropriate. Also, a more traditional understanding would be that red represents Shakti and black represents Shiva... Guest guest
Dear friend - as you have said - this is true that blue represents Lord Shiva. There is something of a distinction when we speak of Shiva the Personified Lord or Deity (who appears as the color blue) vs. Shiva as a universal representation of Pure Consciousness / Shakti as a universal representation of primal energy. In the latter case, we are referring to them not as personified dieties but rather as non-personified states of being. I know this is splitting hairs, but perhaps this may contain a grain of truth....... namaste, alan >AumShiningLotus > > >Re: RBSC : Re: RBSC : 5 Mukhi >Sat, 30 Apr 2005 11:14:46 EDT > >Dear Respected Alan Ji > >thought Blue was color for Lord Shiva....Nilankantha.......drinking of the >Poison > >people in Temple wear Black on Saturday to pacify the day of Saturn > >Thanks > >DD > >In a message dated 4/29/2005 8:56:35 AM Pacific Standard Time, >source311 writes: > > > Subj: RBSC : Re: RBSC : 5 Mukhi > > 4/29/2005 8:56:35 AM Pacific Standard Time > > source311 > > Reply-to: > > > > Sent from the Internet > > > > > > > > Dear friends - Mars and Saturn for red and black is appropriate.
