Dear Mohan Ji

 

Both colors are OK............am thinking red is a mars color and black a

saturn color so if these are worn they would help to pacify these

plantets.........maybe someone can correct me if am wrong on this

Dear friends - Mars and Saturn for red and black is appropriate. Also, a

more traditional understanding would be that red represents Shakti and black

represents Shiva...

thought Blue was color for Lord Shiva....Nilankantha.......drinking of the

Poison

 

people in Temple wear Black on Saturday to pacify the day of Saturn

Dear friend - as you have said - this is true that blue represents Lord

Shiva. There is something of a distinction when we speak of Shiva the

Personified Lord or Deity (who appears as the color blue) vs. Shiva as a

universal representation of Pure Consciousness / Shakti as a universal

representation of primal energy. In the latter case, we are referring to

them not as personified dieties but rather as non-personified states of

being. I know this is splitting hairs, but perhaps this may contain a grain

of truth.......
