Dear Dharamdev Ji,

Many thanks for your reply to my earlier query.I am planning to buy

malas for myself , but there are some confusions for which i seek

your help and advice.I would request you to kindly advise me on the

following points which will enable me to decide and buy malas for

myself.

1.. It is recommended in puranas to wear 16 beads on the arm.

a . Is it practical and hassle free to wear on arm ?

b . Which size beads are recommended for the arm ?

c. Since the puranas mention sixteen would that mean that here

there would not be any meru and the qty will be 16.

2.. It is recommended in puranas to wear twelve on the wrist.I need

the answer on this too on the same set of questions as above

except that the quantity in respect to question c becomes twelve

instead of sixteen.

3.. The puranas also recommend 32 on the kanth. The answer to the

same set of questions are requested.

Thanking you and looking forward to your valuable guidance.

Regards,

Deepak.

Dear Deepak Ji

Namaskar Mitra and thank you for your message..........is really not

practical to wear on arm..........constant adjustment of beads due to arm

movement is

a problem dureing the day if you move around or walk..........then if you waer

too tight so they wont move you have problem with blood circulation in

arm.......wearing on arm is more for sitting in Japa or Temple

Really same answer for wearing on wrist.........Nepal Beads are big enough

that they bang on anything and everything so the exterior projections become

damaged

The 32 Bead Kantha is perfect with the Gauri Shankar Beads for wearing on the

neck anytime.........First importance of wearing is on the neck and

head......as this type of wearing affects the main functioning areas of the

entire

body............secondary wearing is on the arm or wrist or

waist.............idea

is to wear the Beads where they will be protected and at the same time cover

the most area of the body so that the Neurophysiology is affected in the most

effective manner

hope this helps

Wishing you and Family the Best

Dhanyavaad cha Pranamas

Actually for a person who is in the every day work a day world the safest and

best suited for wearing is either on the head or around the neck
