rudraksh and smoking

I would like to gift my dad a rudraksh mala., but my dad is a chain smoker.

Do you think its right to give him rudraksh mala??

 

I sure he won't be able to remove his mala everytime he smokes...

Is Ok to gift your Father with Mala.........if he wears he may slow down a

little and there might be the chance of less compulsive activity like chain

smokeing.....never know unless you try and see if it works

Hi there

 

As far as I know there are no specific restrictions listed on wearing

holy beads and smoking. If anything the holy beads might even help the

person calm down and hence require lesser number of cigarettes as a

course of daily living.
