Guest guest
Namaste M. Sai, Remove those doubts Unless the mantra you are reciting is strictly specified by your preceptor that it should be done 108 times in one sitting, then yes. If not, the answer is 'no'. The 27+1 bead mala is compact and very useful for carrying around in the pocket, briefcase or purse. Busy folks find it especially useful. To be more precise, yes its ok to rotate 2 rounds in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. This totals 108 times anyway.. Guest guest
Thank u Simone ji, It is said, that we have to touch the meru beed to the forehead after completion of japa. Do we have to do this on completion the one mala or at the completion of the japa for that session. In other words, when I have to touch the meru beed to my forehead while doing japa with 27+1 or 54+1 japa malas? Kindly advice. M.Sai , "Simone" <syzenith> wrote: > > Namaste M. Guest guest
Namaste M. Sai, Its a matter of bhakti and personal preference whether you wish to, or feel compelled to touch the Meru to the forehead the number of times you want. Go with your instinct; Listen to the Inner Guru; Get in touch with your Upa Guru and the right answer will come to you. Sincerely, i can only speak for my humble self but not for others becos each individual has different methods or practices as taught to them or transmitted to them. All things being holy, sacred and in existence becos of the Divine, as are the Tears of Lord Shiva, yes I touch the Meru to the forehead after each repetition, whether long or short. Paths are many but all lead to the One Summit Auspicious blessings Om Namah Shivaya Simone , "mudigantisai" <mudigantisai> wrote: > > Thank u Simone ji, > > It is said, that we have to touch the meru beed to the forehead after > completion of japa.
