Guest guest
Thanks for posting the Ganesha on Swing Picture........this is really something to see as I have never encountered this before either DD In a message dated 12/17/2005 9:09:54 AM Pacific Standard Time, syzenith .au writes: Interesting statue in Panchdhatu (5 Metals); 7 inches tall &4 inches at the base. Punchmukhi Hanuman Pancha = five, Mukhi = face. The five faces are those of Varaha, Garuda, Hanuman, Narasimha and Hayagriva. Through three faces, He reveals the soul's past, present and future and its life in these three phases. Through the fourth face, He gives instruction to the soul on transcending the three phases and thus dissolving its individuality in the universality of the Lord through the path of saranagathi, i.e., complete surrender to the Divine Will. Through the fifth face, He initiates the sincere soul into this sublime process. It also brings prosperity when kept in the north-west or the south of the house. Another interesting Statue: Ganesha on Swing (brass) I've seen Krishna on a swing tens of thousands of times in India and elsewhere but Ganesha on a swing is truly a "first" for me Ganesha Sharanam Om Shri Hanumate Namah Om Simone To send an email to: Visit your group "" on the web. Guest guest
Namaste Sri DDji, Pranaam The thanks should go to Rudra Centre and yourself for providing us Rudraksha Enthusiasts and Devotees a kinda "Cyber Home" where we can share experiences and interact with brothers and sisters around the world Agree about the Hanuman Panchdhatu Murthis being auspicious. Lord Hanuman saved me many times ) The cost for this particular murthi on Rudra Centre's website is truly reasonable too. Many years ago when I had a Panchdhatu murthi made while visiting India, it cost an arm and a leg! Next when I enquired about 8 metals also while in South India, the quotation was brow-mopping too.. This is one of the many reasons why I am so grateful to Rudra Centre -- the prices are affordable for many of us who happen to love collecting certain murthis, rudraksha high grade beads and holy items.
