Guest guest
Cow's milk. Cows are sacred in India. Btw, we never hear of 'mad cow disease' in India. Just about every holy text mentions use of cows milk for various matters. Goats milk can also be used if u like. Gangal jal is available at Rudra Centre for U.S. 50 cents; why not check it out? Its called 'cleansing'. Yes, chant 'Om Namah Shivaya Shivaya Namah Om'. With true bhakti (devotion), all will work. , Vikrant <free_for_blue wrote: > > can one clean the rudraksha bead with milk..is yes..what kind of milk shud be used..is there a mention of this is holy texts..if yes..whats the actual procedure...sometim back i raised a question as to what one shud do if one accidently touches his/her rudraksh bead with dirty hands and does not have access to ganga jal and cannot get ganga jal...so in this case can i pray to lord shiva and clean his/her rudraksh bead with milk or jusr pour milk over it while chanting om-namah-shivah...what kind of milk shud be used in this case too...also is it advisable to dip rudraksh bead in milk for some time..if so..whats the procedure called...after diping/cleaning rudraksh bead in milk is it advisable to then clean/dip the bead in normal kitchen drinking water....... > how does this all work...... > > Vikrant
