Dear Devotee: Please accept our Humble Pranam.

 

Swami Ramanuja's birthday is only a few days away, (2nd May,2006)

it is apt that we talk and hear about the

greatest acharya of our Sampradaya.

 

As Ramanuja Sampradaya devotees, we all take some time

and celebrate the only Acharya who is the central pendant in

our Acharya GuruParanara. This joy and celebration should be natural to

all of us.

 

Adiyen had asked the great Scholar of our time, the question

what makes Swami Ramanuja the "only" unique acharya,

why not Kurattazhvan, PillaiLockachar, VendantaDesikar, Mamunikal.

We all take pride calling ourselves as Sri vaishnavas and more as Ramanuja

/ Dasi. When there were so many acharyas before and after Swamy Ramanuja, what

is the uniqueness about Ramanuja. Let me share some of them with you.

 

Let us look at 10 points as to what makes Swami Ramanuja the "only"

unique acharya.

temple with the Vigraham from ~3200 BCE (first received by MadhurakaviAzhvar)

support this temple to the extent possible.
