Expanding borders

For someone who has used homeopathy for over 40 years it is so fascinating to look at another discipline in physical treatment - adjustments between Soul and body, and body and environment, both physical and emotional. Even today talking with friends we were laughing at allopathic diagnostic techniques and reminding each other that "naming" the complaint is no indicator of success in treatment. Trouble is allopathy does not treat disease without specification, naming the complaint. And yet at the same time it has been man's task from the beginning to name things.

But what is also fascinating to me is that the roots of Ayurveda are in no way related to what I know! The common names of plants with their Latin roots are nowhere to be found in Ayurveda - if I want to know what Ayurvedic herbs in English are then google is my best option! Would you say that there are three main streams of medicine currently on the planet - Ayurveda, TCM & Homeopathy, with all of these underpinning Allopathy and the Pharmaceutical Business.

But all I care about is finding the essence of human survival, finding how unpleasant conditions can be treated easily and effectively from which ever angle is offered. Treating shock and treating the first signs of any disease, for example, in Homeopathy is the same remedy. The significance of this is deeply significant. Examining physical responses to environmental factors which give rise to disease and exploring causes - common salt giving rise to emotional factors - treatable with homeopathic Nat Mur - very effectively - and this then enables the side-stepping of disease states later in life from unresolved and buried emotions. So many pointers and so many great practitioners to help us see humanity's Achilles heels. The body's struggle to remain in good health despite the Souls anguish at its lack of fulfilment. What else is disease about? Unless it is the Master who takes on the suffering of the world to purify the atmosphere of earth, we are responsible for our own health, we can ask assistance from the person offering the least harmful method of cure, but we still have to work at playing our own part in that cure - we have to quiet the vagabond mind and get back to the source - our own source - and clear the debris of thoughtless action from our path to health and happiness.

So it appears to work both ways, relieve the load on the body to lift the emotions and relieve the emotional burdens to reduce the boy's toxic load. All Alt Meds offer this ability, thank God they do. We have to expand the borders of our awareness of the potential for every discipline, condemning none but using whichever is most appropriate for the moment. Even Allopathy.
