Guest guest
Before reaching a decision about the guru to follow, always check his credentials first. It is a simple procedure, but it is extremely important to do so, as once you have received an incorrect practice from an unqualified techer, you cannot return it. The student can never return what he has received, and any good merit one may have ccumulated will be lost through his wrong practice. You cannot backtrack and say, ' Oh, now I don't want him to be my teacher. I don't like his teaching." this is seriously bad etiquette. With Love, Tara Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
I know this is widely taught that one cannot leave a guru. I don't accept this. I have the right to follow the lessons God gives me. It would be suicidal to refuse to improve any situation in my life that was harmful to me. I believe these types of doctrines are taught by human beings becuase they want total control over others. If I found that my Guru was not teaching truth, I would leave him. If I found that I had learned something from him that was incorrect, I would discard it. It is only common sense. I do not worship human beings. It's OK with me if someone chooses to commit their life to a guru. But, I don't wish to do this. Salvation is not through men but God.
