Guest guest
I once heard a story that was told by a Hindu priest and mantra teacher. In India there was an initiated monk who heard of a poor fisherman who had reached enlightenment through a certain mantra. The fisherman was not initiated and had gained enlightenment on his own. This monk who was a devout initiate went to see this fisherman. The monk rowed a small boat out to the fisherman's boat and climbed in his boat. The monk asked the fisherman to recite the mantra that he had gained enlightenment with. the fisherman began reciting the mantra. The monk heard it and immediately dismissed the man because the fisherman's pronounciation was incorrect. the monk got in his boat and began rowing back to shore. The monk heard the fisherman calling out to him. When he turned around he saw the fisherman standing right next to him. The fisherman had ran on top of the water and was now standing on the water next to his boat begging the monk to please teach him the correct pronunciation. when the monk saw the fisherman standing on top of the water. He realized that it was the fisherman's devotion that had saved him..... It is our devotion that brings us to God. Human beings can be very helpful but to depend solely on another for salvation is not the only way to liberation.... ------------------------ Sponsor --------------------~--> Join modern day disciples reach the disfigured and poor with hope and healing http://us.click./lMct6A/Vp3LAA/i1hLAA/CSdplB/TM --~-> <*> Kali_Ma/ <*> Kali_Ma <*> Your
