Guest guest
Sat Nam! Increasing circulation also may help as will massaging gently the calf with pine essential oil (dilute with a carrier oil first). To increase circulation increase your consumption of fresh ginger root. Yogi tea, fresh ginger tea, grating it on your food are all good ways. Try the 10 day ginger/ghee treatment. Guest guest
Sat Nam, you're all right actually Calcium, magnesium and potassium are all interrelated and work synergistically, too much or too little of any of these minerals can contribute to muscle cramps. Not getting enough oxygen when exercising can also contribute. The B vitamins tend to be more related to nerve functioning but obviously eating and drinking foods with a good balance of vitamins and minerals helps keep us all healthy. Any kind of bowel issue can lead to a poor absorbtion of nutrients. The first thing to try with leg cramps is just stopping what you're doing and stretching gently. blessings ovasoul Kundalini Yoga, Books, Videos and DVDs on Kundalini Yoga, Meditation and Mantra CDs Terms of Service. Guest guest
The "recipe" for the 10 day treatment is 8 tsps. each of ghee, honey, freshly grated ginger. Mix well. Each morning before breakfast take the following doses. Day 1 1/2 tsp. Day 2 1 tsp. Day 3 1 1/2 tsp. Day 4 2 tsp. Day 5 2 1/2 tsp. Day 6 2 1/2 tsp. Day 7 2 tsp. Day 8 1 1/2 tsp. Day 9 1 tsp. Day 10 1/2 tsp. This improves digestion and increses agni. Blessings in Health!
