Karma good and bad

    Dear Group,

        I think most people think of karma as being

either good or bad. So when people prosper in life

they  impute it to their good karma..I think a person

who is in ignorance earns karma and karma is always

bad because it is the result of our ignorance.. So the

do gooders of this world who are always trying to do

do good deeds to earn good karma often can be quite

dangerous to society because what they think is good

for the world may actually be quite harmful.

        On the subject of attachent,I think all humans

are driven by it..One is attached to to one's

country,one's community,one's language,to one's

appearance,the list goes on..And what about desires ?

Every thought is a desire.."I need to get moksha" is a

desire..  So as long as u are  in ignorance they will

be with u..So the only way to deal with desire and it

's consequent effects.. sorrow for instance is to

realize the self.. No amount of suppressing one's

inner urges is going to get one anywhere..One needs to

get to the source of the problem which is ofcourse the

ego. So the question would be," Should I indulge my

urges?".  Isn't that what we do most of the time.. So

why make a big thing of it..
