prakatAkrtih : Of form experienced

Prakata, experienced by all, Akrti, her nature. The SU.-sam

[i.8.36], "All men know Him as the idea of "I" yet through delusion

they do not recognize him as Siva".

Prakatas are the Yoginis established in the first circle [of the

Sricakra]. Akrti they are Her form.

Some take it as a-prakatA meaning secret or ap, in water, prakatA,

manifested. The Sruti says, [MahA-NA., XIV. 1] "All this was indeed

water"
