Gingerol is a potent anti inflammatory. There is research that gingerols are responsible also for the anti cancer properties of ginger. Ginger is a great helper of the digestive system, relieves symptoms of colds and flu, increases white cell production aiding the immune system. Because ginger has anti inflammatory response it is wonderful for arthritis swelling and pain. I make a ginger paste for pain that is one of my biggest sellers because Ginger also relieves burning nerve pain. Ginger tea is used in cleanses to detoxify the body, for nausea and vomiting, and as a compress relieves sinus headache, infection, and painful swelling.
