Guest guest
SrI: what adiyEn had heard is: Reciting Sri Mahalakshmi sthOthras namely Lakshmi ashtOtthara, ChathuslOki or Sri sthavam or Sristhuthi etc.. is prescribed and recommended [and practised over the years] after the Vishnusahasranama paaraayaNam [which includes Panchaayudha sthOthra, Dwaadasa naama sthOthra etc..] and NOT Bhaja govindham..[in One of the audio cassette release Bhaja govindham is rendered after VishNu sahasranamam and perhaps that could be the reason for your discussion / query] Erudite scholars may supplement.. IMHO.. Regards Namo Narayana dAsan madhavakkannan ******** Namaskarams! I once had a discussion with a good friend also interested in sri vaishnavism and he asked me, why is it that we recite Bhaja Govindam after reciting Vishnu Sahasranamam. He also said that there is a particular reason, and somehow, we stopped discussion , (dont remember the exact reason) .I would like to know if there is any paricular reason behind this. Thanks in advance for answering my query. Regards, Vasumathi. New Messenger with Voice.
