Guest guest
Sat Nam Rai Singh, I tried to respond to the email you sent to me off-list but my response keeps bouncing back from your email account so I'm posting it here (without your letter since I wouldn't feel comfortable posting that without your permissions). Here's my answer: That's wonderful My intention was never to dissuade you from undertaking the workshop but merely to do so with an understanding of some of the factors involved around chronic pain syndrome so that you could be effective. The most important motto for any healer is "first do no harm". As well all know, the road to hell is paved with good intentions so it's often best to ask around to see if anyone else has already traveled towards our intended destination (which is rarely hell! This you most wisely did and I'm glad my email provoked you to consider your undertaking and to find people with some experience with chronic pain who can share it with you. Now your chances of doing much good are multiplied If you don't mind, please keep me informed of your progress and the results of your workshop. I would be most interested in hearing about your progress and what you learn along the way. Please feel free to email me to ask me any questions about my experience of working in a chronic pain clinic that may be helpful to you. It would be my pleasure to share what I know in the hopes that it will help someone. When in doubt, keep it gentle and nurturing blessings ovasoul ps. I'm curious (but please feel free to not answer this question if you feel it to be invasive)...do you know the underlying cause for your own chronic pain? What have you found has helped you?
