Sai Baba---God!

Dear Sai family,

Om Sri Sai Ram.Some people have the mistaken belief that Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba attained the supreme state of oneness with God beginning with His previous form of Bhagavan Sri Shirdi Sai Baba who was a saint and evolved or progressed spiritually to reach the present state.They say that it was only after Bhagavan Sri Shirdi Sai Baba went into samadhi for 72 hours, that He experienced oneness with God and realized that He was and still is omnipresent,omniscient and omnipotent and that this was possible only due to the help of a sufi saint--His guru.

First of all, we have to understand that Bhagavan Sri Shirdi Sai Baba and Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba are manifestations of THE ALMIGHTY LORD SHIVA who promised Rishi Bharadwaja that He would manifest Himself in kaliyuga.In fact, the mother of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was told by Lord Shiva that He would be born as her child.Now,when Lord Shiva manifests Himself on earth,does He forget who He really is

and need a guru to guide Him back to self-realization like any ordinary mortal?The answer is a rotund NO! NEVER!

In fact, Sri Sathya Sai Baba has said that He received no teachings from the sufi-saint.They only used to look into each other's eyes like a mother turtle and its baby turtle looking into each other's eyes.In this way, you can understand that it was the sufi-saint that stood to gain by receiving the divine grace of Shirdi Sai Baba who was looking into his eyes and not vice-versa.Even when Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was in the mother's womb,He was totally conscious that He was Shiva---GOD!! Much less after.It has to be remembered that Sri Shirdi Sai Baba had to behave the way He did because of the circumstances in which there were a lot of muslims around Him who did not believe that Allah takes human form.When Sri Sathya Sai Baba bathed the idol of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba with vibhuti ( abhishekam ), He was revealing to the world the true identity of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba----that He really was LORD SHIVA since Lord Shiva's body is always covered with ash.

Then again, some people claim that it was only after Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was bitten by a scorpion and became unconscious that He developed the powers He has today! Well, well, well......if the bite of a scorpion could produce such supernatural ,transcendental powers, then I'm sure that the same cynics would waste no time in getting themselves bitten by a legion of scorpions.In fact, there were no bite marks on the body of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Baba and Swamiji Himself explained that He was not in an unconscious state but in a transcendental,supernatural state and knew how frantic and pained His parents were in their prayers for His recovery.Sri Sathya Sai Baba had to carry out this drama in order to get the people around Him accustomed to His strange behaviour, His miracles, His leelas.Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Himself, the PURNA AVATAR on earth has said that Bhagavan Sri Shirdi Sai Baba was LORD SHIVA---THE FATHER OF THIS UNIVERSE--on earth and that the

present form is the incarnation of SHIVA and PARVATI--FATHER AND MOTHER OF THE UNIVERSE.Now, if we have faith that Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is God Himself on earth, then we have to accept that Shirdi Sai Baba was also God on earth from very conception in the mother's womb or dismiss Him as an outright liar!! Would you do that?
