Guest guest
A Quotation from Bhagawan -- Each individual is born with the question "Koham' (Who am I) on his lips, and the answer is given by every breath - 'Sohum' (He am I). The inhalation whispers 'So' (He) and the exhalation whispers 'Hum' (I). But the question is brushed aside by the mind, impatient to dabble in the toyland it pictures the world to be. The answer is denied admission into the understanding by the ego, which derives temporary pleasures thereby. Realize that your breath is answering the question correctly. When people ask you "Can you show God?" You should reply, "you are God; that is why you are able to talk and act". To know divinity you should know the sacredness within you. Keeping salt in your mouth you cannot taste anything that is sweet. Only by washing your mouth and getting rid of salt, can you taste sweet. Worldly desires are like salt. Discard them. Then you can realize Divinity. -- SSS: Vol. VII A; Page 46.
