Good slide scanners are expensive (US $850 or more). If your slide collection

will remain fairly constant it may be cheaper to select your best slides and

have them scanned to Photo CD. In the US that cost less than $1 per slide. A

Photo CD holds 100 slides.

Any 16-bit (or better) Sound Blaster compatible audio card will be sufficient

for digitizing audio. To digitize video expect to spend $500 - $1,000 for

decent quality.
