This is to announce the formation of a public conference called Ministry of Jyotish. Anyone WinCOM user may join this conference by clicking on COMMANDS- CONFERENCES - MEMBERSHIP, selecting option "Join a Conference" and typing in the name Ministry of Jyotish in the dialogue box. Anyone else may write to me to be added to it. The purpose of this conference is to discuss the formation and developement of the Ministry of Jyotish in two areas: 1) its function within ISKCON and 2) its public outreach (preaching to non-ISKCON persons). This forum is only for matters directly pertaining to the Ministry and not for general astrological discussions which should be only posted to the already exisiting forums for that purpose. I would like to humbly invite anyone who has an interest in seeing this Ministry develope into a useful and viable anga of ISKCON to participate with suggestions on how best to formulate its aims and objectives, and how to execute them.
