Guest guest Posted June 19, 2000 Report Share Posted June 19, 2000 Due do a bug, WinCOM 40 (and 39) does not automatically update the file NodeInfo.ini (containing information about the COM nodes like phone number, telnet address etc.) to the latest version. And therefore the information about a name ("Info" button in the address book) may still say "bbt.se" where it should say "pamho.net". To fix that, exit WinCOM and then delete the file NodeInfo.ini in the WinCOM folder. WinCOM will then create a new correct NodeInfo.ini file. (It will not harm if you don't do this.)
