Studying Vastu at the Veda Academy!

 

Dear Vaishnavis and Vaishnavas!

After the Chinese Feng Shui is becoming more and more famous all over the

world, Vastu, the Vedic origin of Feng Shui starts to come to the western

world also. It is much more profound and closer to western architecture and

living-culture than Feng Shui. Now the community of Vaisnavas has the

opportunity to introduce Vastu in a spiritual way before other groups make

it a pure business. The Veda-Academy has started to work on Vastu three

years ago and has become quite successful. It presently offers

correspondence courses and seminars in German language to educate

professionals in architecture, medicine and other fields to become Vastu

consultants. Our activities are based on five books on Vastu-shastra written

by myself, which are presently published in different languages like Dutch,

Polish, Check, English, Portuguese etc.

 

Vastu is a very good basis for presenting Vedic culture combined with

earning ones livinghood. It is an especially good chance to start right now,

because in many countries nobody is yet introducing it systematically. I

think the Vaisnavas should take care of this before the TM movement or

others will do it like they did with Ayurveda.

 

The Veda-Academy in Germany is offering an English Vastu course to educate

Vaisnavas all over the world to become Vastu consultants. The course

consists of a seven-day intensive seminar. Before starting, the students

will get written material as preparation for the seminar. After the seminar

the students are assigned with practical homework which will give them the

opportunity to apply their knowledge. The education has the following

structure:

 

1) Preparation for the seminar

2) 7-day-seminar

3) Analysis of five houses in written form which will be corrected by the

teacher

4) Diploma-thesis: planing of a house or another project according to Vastu

5) Final examination

 

Optional: Second 7-day-seminar for deepening the understanding and more

practical application. The successful student will be awarded with a

Vasati-Diploma. Vasati is an expression for the modern form of Vastu.
