"Get most recent texts in a conference" is the command:

 

change unread <conference> 123

 

You may also do

 

change read <conference> 123

 

to tell COM how many texts you have read.

 

> In addition, is there any way an organizer can set the default number

> of conference texts that new members get when they join?

 

By "Commands" / "FOR ORGANIZERS" / "Default no. of unread texts of

conference". (Was this so difficult to find out yourself?)

 

Or by the command

 

change default unread <conference> 123
