On my computer it always creates a box, either the box for the alias or, if the options "Subboxes in In-basket/Letters" and "Create boxes in Letters" are both On, a box with the name of the sender. Of course I did not test all 96 combinations of filing cabinet options. So if you have a case where the box for the alias is not created, you should send me your WinCOM.ini file.
