WinCOM 43

I have uploaded following files to the "(PAMHO) System (Info)" conference:

 

32WCOM43.EXE (507K) WinCOM version 43 (32-bit for Win 95/98/ME/NT/2000)

16WCOM43.EXE (503K) WinCOM version 43 (16-bit for Windows 3.x)

WCOMX43U.EXE (107K) Update of 32-bit WinCOM from 42A or 42B to 43

WCOM43U.EXE (82K) Update of 16-bit WinCOM from 42A to 43

 

The main changes since version 42 are:

- WinCOM simultaneously connects to telnet.pamho.net and bes.d2g.com and

uses the first connection that is established.

- The Zmodem transfer should work better with bad connections like in India.

- WinCOM can zip the attached file before uploading it.

The rest is small changes and bug fixes.

 

To find out which one of above files you should download, look at "Help" /

"About WinCOM".

 

If it says "Version 42A(32-bit)" or "Version 42B(32-bit)":

- download WCOMX43U.EXE (by "Commands" / "Download a file"),

- in WinCOM do "File" / "Open my Folder" and go to the "FILES" folder,

- exit WinCOM,

- move WCOMX43U.EXE from the "FILES" folder to the WinCOM folder (the folder

containing WinCOMx) and run WCOMX43U.EXE (double-click on it).

 

If it says "Version 42A(16-bit)":

- download WCOM43U.EXE (by "Commands" / "Download a file"),

- in WinCOM do "File" / "Open my Folder" and go to the "FILES" folder,

- exit WinCOM,

- move WCOM43U.EXE from the "FILES" folder to the WinCOM folder (the folder

containing WinCOM.exe) and run WCOM43U.EXE (double-click on it).

 

If you have any other 32-bit WinCOM version:

- download 32WCOM43.EXE (by "Commands" / "Download a file"),

- in WinCOM do "File" / "Open my Folder" and go to the "FILES" folder,

- exit WinCOM,

- run 32WCOM43.EXE (double-click on it).

 

If you have any other 16-bit WinCOM version:

- download 16WCOM43.EXE (by "Commands" / "Download a file"),

- in WinCOM do "File" / "Open my Folder" and go to the "FILES" folder,

- exit WinCOM,

- run 16WCOM43.EXE (double-click on it).
