Guest guest
I have uploaded following files to the "(PAMHO) System (Info)" conference: MCOMP44.SIT (433K) MacCOM version 44 (for PowerPC Mac) MCOMM44.SIT (396K) MacCOM version 44 (for 68K Mac) MCOMP44U.SIT (17k) Update of MacCOM for PowerPC from 43 to 44 MCOMM44U.SIT (20k) Update of MacCOM for 86K Mac from 43 to 44 Following bugs are fixed: - MacCOM 43 hung after logging out saying "Cancelling the connection". - Under Mac OS 9 the "Goodies" menu was shown only for half a second. Under Mac OS 9 it now appears already when you press down the mouse button. - When you opened the dialog box to choose a font, the font of the sample was not always correct. - If no printer was installed, then MacCOM did not display an error message when you opened the Print Options. To find out which one of above files you should download, look at "About MacCOM" in the Apple menu. If it says "Version 43 (PPC)": - download MCOMP44U.SIT from "System" (by "Commands" / "Download a file"), - in MacCOM do "File" / "Open my Folder" and go to the "FILES" folder, - exit MacCOM, - unstuff MCOMP44U.SIT to the MacCOM folder, - run "Update of MacCOM from 43 to 44" (if it does not work, then try it with a freshly unstuffed MCOMP43.SIT). If it says "Version 42 (PPC)": - download MCOMP43U.SIT and MCOMP44U.SIT from "System" (by "Commands" / "Download a file"), - in MacCOM do "File" / "Open my Folder" and go to the "FILES" folder, - exit MacCOM, - unstuff MCOMP43U.SIT and MCOMP44U.SIT to the MacCOM folder, - run "Update of MacCOM from 42 to 43" and "Update of MacCOM from 43 to 44" (if it does not work, then try it with a freshly unstuffed MCOMP42.SIT). If you have any other MacCOM version for PowerPC Mac (PPC): - download MCOMP44.SIT from "System" (by "Commands" / "Download a file"), - in MacCOM do "File" / "Open my Folder" and go to the "FILES" folder, - exit MacCOM, - unstuff MCOMP44.SIT to the MacCOM folder. If you have MacCOM for the 68K Mac, then download the corresponding files for the 68K Mac (MCOMM...) and proceed similar to above.
