Six devotees leave their bodies in horrific road accident in

My dear Devotees,

 

Please accept my best wishes. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

 

I am sorry to inform you that yesterday we received some sad news: Six

Mauritian devotees left their bodies in a severe car accident.

> The wife of Jagadpati Pr is in coma. It was the driver's fault (Jagadpadi

> Das) who left his left side and collided with a bus coming on the opposite

> direction.

Then Sundarlal Prabhu (LOK) wrote the most wonderful appreciation of Adiraja

Prabhu: All glories to Adiraja prabhu.

> Bon Accueil. He was also the sankirtan leader for

> some time. He also helped in organising the big

> Janmasthami festival there. He spent lots of time

> touring India on Padayatra while preaching the holy

> names of the Lord. He has been able to visit many

> places which we may not have been able to visit.

> After coming from India Adiraj Prabhu came to the

> Rose Belle preaching begging for service. He was

> appointed as the chairman of the festival committee.

> He was very regular. During that time Rose Belle

> very close to me at the Rose Belle preaching centre.

> He was very simple at home. We were always invited at

> home for nice prasadam which was cooked by his devoted

> wife. Adiraj Prabhu's morning programs and diety

> worship were excellent and examplary. Adiraj Prabhu had

> lots of plans for preaching Krishna consciousness, but

> due to family maintainance he was unable to execute

> them to the full extent.

> I deeply lament for the departure of this woderful

> soul, Adiraj prabhu, and his devoted wife,

> Vilasini mataji, who was also very close to me.

> These souls are very rare in Kali-yuga. Therefore

> their association is very valuable.

> The last time I saw him was at the bhagavata-katha

> conducted by Srila Lokanath Maharaja at the Phoenix

> temple. I am sure they must have received lots of

> benefit from hearing Srimad-Bhagavatam, which is life's

> only goal, and have attained the spiritual realm.

My dear Sundarlal Prabhu,

 

Please accept my best wishes. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

 

Thank you for your wonderful glorification of Adiraja Prabhu. Just last

month Jaya Vijaya Prabhu visited Santa Barbara and showed some slides with

Adiraja Prabhu on Padayatra. Then we all remembered and appreciated Adiraja

Prabhu's wonderful qualities and service. How could we know he would leave

us so soon? Adiraja Prabhu remained fixed in devotional service despite all

obstacles and opposition. Thus he served as a great example and a great

source of inspiration for us all. How we feel his separation now.

 

We too pray that Adiraja Prabhu and his devoted wife and the others will

reach the supreme destination--eternal service at the lotus feet of Srila

Prabhupada and his beloveds.

 

And I wonder how many other wonderful devotees grace us now that we will

come to properly value only after they leave us?
