Guest guest
Dear Devotees: PAMHO AGTSP At http://www.infogeneratorpro.com/nospam.html you can read the following: an email is considered SPAM if it has been sent to an address that has not requested it from YOU! Since 1-Aug-02 I send to Sadhu Svami a request to stop sending me his e-maiils as you can see at the end of this e-mail, and before an threatening letter form a "majoor devotee" I continue receiving his spam. At http://www.turnstep.com/Spambot/glossary.html#spam you can read the following: Spam originally meant to post many off-topic and inappropriate postings (mostly commercials) to a newsgroup(s), making it hard to read by lowering the signal to noise ratio. The "noise" in a newsgroup is everything else that does not help contribute to the purpose for which the newsgroup was created (i.e. a mutually beneficial discussion about a certain specific topic). Note that spam postings are nbot the only noise: off topic-postings, flames, "posting tests" and other things can also be defined as noise. Between 7/1-30/2002 Sadhu Svami's mail activity was: 7/2/2002 ... 1 e-mail 7/3/2002 ... 1 e-mail 7/5/2002 ... 8 e-mail 7/6/2002 ... 1 e-mail 7/7/2002 ... 2 e-mail 7/15/2002 ... 1 e-mail 7/16/2002 ... 3 e-mail 7/19/2002 ... 2 e-mail 7/20/2002 ... 3 e-mail 7/21/2002 ... 1 e-mail 7/23/2002 ... 2 e-mail 7/26/2002 ... 2 e-mail 7/27/2002 ... 1 e-mail 7/28/2002 ... 5 e-mail Total 33 vs 37 posted by other devotees in Krishna Katha, this means Sadhu Svami send 47.14% of the posts between 7/1-30/2002, for obvious reasons this bombing can be named "noise" The activities of Sadhu Svami are into the definition of spam by two different reasons. ys Narendra dasa
