The conversion of the characters from Vedabase to WinCOM is done by WinCOM

and it does it only if the text in the clipboard directly came from the

Folio program itself. But when you click the "copy with ref" icon, the text

does not come from the Folio program itself but from a routine programmed by

the Bhaktivedanta Archives.

 

I suggest you download VED2ASC3.ZIP from the "Infobase" conference, unzip it

and run VEDA2ASC.EXE. That program correctly converts the diacritics when

you click "copy with ref" in the Vedabase.
