Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura (1838-1914), was one of the foremost acaryas of

the Gaudiya Vaisnava, and the original pioneer of the modern day Hare

Krishna movement. The essence of his teachings has been presented in

question and answer format in this new book. The answers are directly quoted

from his writings.

 

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada said:

This book has been collected from many wonderful jewels of the literary

ocean of OmVisnupada Srila Thakura Bhaktivinoda Mahasaya, and includes his

essays, stories, novels, books, songs, and poems. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta

Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada ordered one of his foremost disciples, Sripada

Sundarananda Vidyavinoda Prabhu, a staunch follower of Srila Bhaktivinoda's

instructions, to compile this book.

 

This first volume covers sambandha. The other volumes covering abhidheya and

prayojana will be published shortly. By reading this book, one gets a clear

understanding of all aspects of sambandha and deep feeling of the mood and

character of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura..
