Please accept my humble obeisances.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

We made an “Index of Quoted Verses” with three instead of two columns. We

added a middle column for SOURCE as was done in the new Bhat-Bh€gavat€mta

(pp. 839-52).

Comparing the SOURCE column in our Index with the “References” appendix (RA)

in the Bhagavad-gita Deluxe Edition (DE) (Third printing, 1998) reveals the

following:

Even though referred to in the purports of the DE (mostly not explicitly),

the following scriptures are not listed in the RA:

1. Bh€v€rtha-d…pik€

2. G…t€-bh™aŠa-bh€ya van Baladeva Vidy€bh™aŠa G…t€-m€h€tmya

3. Gautam…ya-tantra

4. Gurva˜aka

5. Kali-santaraŠa Upaniad

6. Mah€-n€r€yaŠa Upaniad

7. Manu-smti

8. Pady€val…

9. ®ik€˜aka

10. Taittir…ya šraŠyaka

11. Taittir…ya Saˆhit€

12. Y€jñavalkya-smti

Since the RA is meant to list ”standard Vedic authorities” only, some of the

above-mentioned scriptures may disqualify for insertion (e.g. nrs. 1., 2.,

4., 12. ?). However, nrs. 3., 5., 6., 7. (!), 8., 9., 10., 11. are certainly

eligible for insertion, or aren't they?

As for nrs. 8. and 9.:

8. Pady€val… — written by ®r… R™pa Gosv€m… whose Upade€mta is also listed

in RA, so why not Pady€val… also?

9. ®ik€˜aka — Lord Caitanya is the highest Vedic authority, is He not?

Could you kindly let me know which scriptures I should include or exclude in

the RA for the Dutch translation?

Thank you very much in advance. Hare Krishna.

Your humble servant,

Rogier.
