Guest guest
Hare Krishna! Dear Prabhus and Matajis, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! Devotional dolls will be available during the Mayapur Festival at a special price to every one. ISKCON devotees here handcraft our dolls. We do not want to make big profits, but simply maintain a simple lifestyle and maintain our cow here in beautiful Mayapur. As Srila Prabhupada has said, .... for exporting Indian goods to outside of India. Similarly, we can import nice dolls here (to the West). ... So Mayapur inhabitants can be engaged in such a small manufacturing enterprise as well as farming to become self-sufficient. ============ REF. Letter to: Jayapataka, Bhavananda -- Los Angeles 9 May, 1973 We now have a Distributor in the USA. He will send the dolls to any parts of the world at no extra charge over the retail price. This service will be available shortly after the Gaura Purnima Festival. We also will be able to accept payments through our new on-line payment system at that time. Please have patience and bare with us while we get all this set up for you. Meanwhile, if you are coming to the Mayapur Festival please look us up or if you cannot make it, send a friend. We will be having a stall at the Mini Market under the Name GOPAL SOFT TOYS. Now we have available Radha, Gopal, Balaram, Nimai, and Nitai dolls. Limited Radarani's will also be available with special dresses made from Mahaprasadam dresses from their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Madhava and eight Gopis of Chandrodaya Mandir. Srila Prabhupada: Maharaja Parékñit also used to play with Kåñëa dolls in his childhood. In India, the children in good families are still given dolls of the Lord like Räma and Kåñëa, or sometimes the demigods, so that they may develop the aptitude of service to the Lord. By the grace of the Lord, we were given the same opportunity by our parents, and the beginning of our life was based on this principle. ============ REF. SB 3.2.2 We are looking forward in meeting you here. A Grand Festival is planned this year! Please do not miss it! I hope you are well by the grace of Krishna.
