& certification agency, whose standards for a wide variety of home &

highest body in this world which is an expert on water technology,even the

WHO has to follow their guidelines because of their strict international

testifications & certifications.It is a completely independent

organisation.It is not a government agency.It is not affiliated with or

controlled by private industry.As a result ,NSF International is an

objective third party certifier with the highest possible credibility.NSF

has been recently designated by the WHO as a Collaborative Center for

Drinking Water & Safety & Treatment.

 

WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN A SYSTEM IS NSF CERTIFED????

 

A system that is NSF certifed must meet five basic requirements:

 

1.Certified contaminant reduction claims must be proven through testing

performed by NSF International at its laboratories.

 

2.The system must not add anything harmful to the water.

 

3.The system must be structurally sound.

 

4.Advertising,literature & labelling must not contain any false or

misleading statements.

 

5.Materials & manufacturing process must remain unchanged - to assure

consistent system performance & quality

 

The NSF International Certification process includes product performance

testing - and a good deal more.The process also requires an initial audit of

the company,the product and all performance claims.In addition,product

materials,testing process and product literature are reviewed.Annual audits

are also required to assure continued compliance.Certified products are

subjected to a 5 year retest programme.

 

Our water filters have passed through 3 major International tests

established by NSF International.

 

NSF Standard 42 ........................ AESTHETIC EFFECTS

 

Meeting this standard means a system reduces contaminants that affect water

taste,odor and clarity.

 

NSF Standard 53 .........................HEALTH EFFECTS

 

This standard concerns the reduction of hazardous contaminants - such as

cycts,lead,pesticides & chemicals.

 

NSF Standard 55 .........................ULTRAVIOLET MICROBIOLOGICAL WATER

TREATMENT

 

Standard 55 Class B applies exclusively to systems that use ultraviolet

light.It certifies the system's ability to reduce normally-occuring bacteria

& other microorganisms in municipally-treated water.Very few consumer

systems qualify for this standard.

 

Above all we personally recommend these Water Filters as we are not using

tap water any more, what we are using is filtered water from these filters

which is sweet in taste with no chlorine smell and soft water compared to

the hard water from the tap.

As a result we have noticed some changes that we do not get stomach upset

anymore,we are able to drink lots of water everyday (recommended drinking is

around 10 cups or more),no stomach pain which was due to chlorine present in

the tap water & our digestion is much better & most of all we now have a
