Guest guest
New Book! Sri Bhaktivinoda Vani Vaibhava, Volume 2 &3, Abhidheya and Prayojana The Divine Opulence of the Teachings of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura Dear Vaishnavas, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. It is great pleasure to announce the release of the second and third volume of Sri Bhaktivinoda Vani Vaibhava, the divine opulence of the teachings of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura. It has been quite a privilege to finally release the English edition of this wonderful book that covers all the teachings of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura was one of the foremost acaryas of the Gaudiya Vaishnavas. He wrote extensively on Vaishnava philosophy, and set the stage for the spread of Lord Caitanya's Sankirtana movement throughout the world. He was a great visionary and a Vaishnava saint. In 1896, he made a bold prediction that people from all corners of the world will very soon assemble in Mayapura, with Lord Caitanya's banners in their hands, hands raised upwards, and congregational chant the holy names of Krishna, along with their Bengali brothers. That prediction later became fulfilled less than 100 years later. The present publication of Bhaktivinoda Vani Vaibhava covers Abhideya and Prayojana. Vaishnava philosophy is divided into three sections. These are Sambandha, Abhideya and Prayojana. Sambandha is about our relationship with the Supreme Lord, and His creations. Abhideya is about the activities that we do to revive our eternal loving relationship with the Lord. Prayojana is the ultimate goal of life, love of God. Sri Bhaktivinoda Vani Vaibhava, following the footsteps of the writings of previous acaryas such as Srila Jiva Goswami is divided according to these three Vaishnava's precepts. The book is in question and answer format throughout. Sripad Sundarananda Vidyavinoda, one of the prominent disciples of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura, composed the questions, on the order of his spiritual master, and the answers were taken directly from the writings of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura. Each answer is supplied with references from all the books and writings of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura. The first volume covering Sambandha was released last year and it contains 40 chapters. With great happiness, we now release the final two volumes in one book, containing 68 chapters. The book is 475 pages, in attractive hardbound. It is dedicated to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the greatest Vaishnava saint of our time, who fulfilled the prediction of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, by making available Krishna consciousness movement all over the world.
