Guest guest
I had some problems with logging in so I am sorry if you already received this letter. ----------------------- Dear Vaisnavas! Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! The six-month old Tulasi Devi I am taking care of has been suffering from drastic curling of her leaves for a couple of months. Some of them are now so tight that it is practically impossible to uncurl them again. Many of these leaves also developed tiny black sand-like specks on the bottom side. I tried watering her both less and more (each for a period of about two weeks) and adding iron nutrients but nothing seems to help. Together with this, I noticed tiny flies in her soil which do not match the description of white flies (they are black). They seem to be multiplying very quickly and I cannot estimate do they have anything to do with the leaves curling or not. She receives only natural sunlight and the other Tulasi Devi I have (a different type though) does not seem to be afflicted with this. I have been serving Srimati Tulasi Devi for four years but this is the first time I am faced with such a problem. Could someone please help? Thank you in advance. Your servant Stavavali dasi.
