I will not close the conference just because a member (you) posts texts that

some others might think are not suitable. And I don't think that the

organizer (Sudama Prabhu) will censor your texts.

 

I already told the GBC in another case that COM/PAMHO is not and never was

ISKCON's email system. The GBC can only decide on conferences that begin

with "(ISKCON)" (see www.pamho.net/agree.htm). COM was the email system of

the NE-BBT.

 

So you can post your texts provided Sudama Prabhu has no objection. The

texts in this conference are sent only to those who joined themselves or

confirmed the membership.

BTW. I have now changed the setting of the conference that no-one except the

organizer (and I) can see the member list.

Thank you very much for your kind offer to allow me to participate.

I will go through all the previous texts and begin composing something.

I think you are providing a valuable service towards furthering

freedom of speech within ISKCON (of course no one should be allowed to

attack

Srila Prabhupada). Many are still not aware of the difference between

COM

and PAMHO (I was one of them). I will endeavour to let devotees know of

the

service you are providing. In particular if you want I can post your

reply to

me in our next IRM NL, which goes out to almost 13,000 devotees around

the world,

so they know that PAMHO is NOT a 'GBC-controlled' system, and it is safe

for

them to join. They may have HEARD this, but your allowing me to

participate is

PROOF of this.
