From the different papers issued by the GBC on this matter emerges a very confused idea. I agree with Ramakanta prabhu that we need to know what exactly is the GBC's stand, so that we can decide whether we do or do not support it.. > > If not, are all the conference members willing to accept that the GBC's > > current siddhanta on initiations is not the same as Srila Prabhupada's? > > I do not accept that conclusion (see above). How indeed can we reject or defend something we do not know? Is it not time that the GBC present one coherent conclusion regarding their position on this matter, which is of an issue of first concern for every devotee who claims to be a follower of ISKCON. Is ISKCON what ISKCON is supposed to be according to Srila Prabhupada's desires? And how is that proofed? How can we know that for sure? > Further, I don't exactly know what IRM says. What of following conclusions > do they support? > > 1. Srila Prabhupada continues to give diksa and none of his disciples and > granddisciples can give diksa. I am sure Krishnakant prabhu will react on this....but what I have understood from going through the IRM writings is that Srila Prabhupada intended to remain the DIKSA GURU OF ISKCON for all times, to be achieved through engaging his disciples as "Ritvik" representatives, while the SIKSA aspect of the parampara will be continued in according to natural need, inclination and faith of senior and junior vaisnavas. > 2. Srila Prabhupada continues to give diksa and some of his disciples or > granddisciples also can (able and authorized) give diksa. See above. I would like Krishnakant prabhu and other devotees to share their profound findings on this matter with us. Let us work together to understand the will of Srila Prabhupada properly and carry it out.
