Guest guest
Hare Krishna! Please accept my humble obeisancies. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! In the attached file please find the photos of Advaita being put on the altar. He and Gouranga was the most difficult once. Now we can say that, because at the time of writing this all members of Pancha-tattva are already on the altar! Advaita was very difficult to put on the altar because of the position of His left hand is such that on His way to His spot Advaita's hand cought onto Nityananda's right knee. At that time Advaita was suspended in the air and swinging a bit, so He could easely knock Nityananda over - imagine(!) the object, which weights 3 tones is swinging! Devotees managed to stop an accident in time, but it was a LOT of anexiety about how to put Advaita in the place meant for Him. The altar is a little bit tite for Them. With great difficulty devotees managed to pull them apart from each other a little, so the lifting of Advaita could carry on. When Advaita almost got to the strait standing position, He suddenly slipped out and jumed off the altar (with all His 3 tones weight !!!). Fortunately there was big wooden slabs piled on the floor, their hight came up to the level of lower piece of the altar, so Advaita did not tip, but just stood up on the pile of wood facing the corner of the Deity room. The moment it happened was indescribable, everyone's breath just stopped... for few moments... Anyway, after this trick Advaita eventually went onto the altar more or less peacefully. It was quite a bit of work to position Him on the right spot. Late at night He was standing at last in His position on the altar. Advaita Prabhu ki! - jaya! Today Gadadhara and Srivasa went on the altar peasefully wthout trouble. By 4:30 PM it was over and all 5 Deities were standing on teh altar, positioned in Their spots. Hare Krishna! Photos of Gadadhar and Srivasa being put on the altar will follow. Pictures are greately reduced in size (for WEB), so if someone wants full size photos you are welcome to contact us. your servant, Vrindavan Lila dd ------------ to see photos of Mayapur go to: http://www.dipika.org/mainpages/contributors/vrindavan.lila.dd.htm www.mayapur.info
