Guest guest
My Dear Vaisnavas, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. Owing to time constraints from an ecstatically tremendous burden of preaching work I am taking a temporary leave of absence from active participation in this conference. It's not that I'm taking a sabbatical because I not able to refute Krishna Kant and Sudama. I can certainly easily defeat all of their endless stream of arguments. I really am extremely busy with very important service for Srila Prabhupada. My first thanks is to His Divine Grace Om Visnupada Paramahansa Parivrajakacarya Astottara Sata Sri Srimad A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada who has brought us all together in his service. I want to thank Sudama for starting the conference and Rama Kant for facilitating it. I also want to thank our KKD (Krishna Kant Desai) for joining it at my prodding. His presence has certainly help to enliven the discussion. (I am still not-so-secretly hoping that one day he will become "Kesava Kasmiri das", a suitable designation for one so expert in the art of debate.) And of course my eternal gratitude to the ever benevolent presence of His Holiness Jayadvaita Swami who is blessing us all by his participation. Prabhupada has taught us "phalena pariciyatea thing is judged by it's results." As a result of this open discussion of both sides of this guru parampara issue one of the members of this conference has informed me that he wants to be my initiated disciple. Wherever these issues are discussed totally openly the true light of Srila Prabhupada's actual desires will be clearly manifested. If in any way I have been offensive to any of you I humbly bow down at your lotus feet and beg for your forgiveness. Sometimes in the heat of intense debating one may sometimes use more strength than was necessary when a more gentle approach would have been more effective. As you are all sincerely trying to serve Srila Prabhupada according to your realizations I am begging the blessings of all of you that my humble attempts to serve Srila Prabhupada may be successful. My well wishes are certainly with all of you that you may be successful in pushing forward Srila Prabhupada's mission, and I pray that your well-wishes may be with me also. Can our ritvik brothers wish me well in the same spirit that I am wishing them well? Here's the report I promised you.. The other day I took a poll of the members of this conference to see whose encouragement I should go by--Srila Prabhupada or the ritviks. The result was 100% that I should follow Srila Prabhupada, not the ritviks. Even the ritviks did not vote that I should follow them. I wish you all well in your ongoing discussions. May the full light of Srila Prabhupada's mercy be fully manifest in them. When I do get some time I promise I will back to actively participate once again. Until then ISKCON solidarity ki jaya! Srila Prabhupada ki jaya! And one last thing... These discussions have inspired me to start the "Guru Parampara Journal" to foster a spirit of love and co-operation amongst all the followers of Srila Prabhupada throughout the world. Prabhupada said he has built a house in which the whole world can live peacefully. If we can't live in it peacefully ourselves it will be the greatest disgrace. We must now focus on how to peacefully co-exist as Srila Prabhupada's followers on this planet even if we sometimes disagree. If we continue this in-house fighting Srila Prabhupada's mission will be a failure. We cannot allow this to happen. We must resolve our differences and move forward cooperatively to make Srila Prabhupada's mission a success. If you would like to to the "Guru Parampara Journal" you can do so at: http://www.guruparampara.com Hoping this meets you in good health, Always your humble servant, Sankarshan Das Adhikari
Guest guest
Dear Sankarshan prabhu: PAMHO AGTSP This is at least the third time you have bowed out of a debate with Krishna Kant due to a "tremendous burden of preaching work" or "being up do your neck in preaching". However I know you are a man of your word and will certainly find the time to finish this extremely important discussion once and for all. You wrote a few weeks ago: ****************** Please stay with us a little longer. At least long enough to see how I am going to defeat Krishna Kant Desai. Stay tuned. His defeat is coming soon. ****************** I'm sure when you get a spare moment from your mountains of preaching work that you will come back to finish this discussion and defeat Krishna Kant as you promised.
