I do not know if the GBC members are aware, but there is a definite mood of disappointment amongst the devotees. Just because most devotee’s do not chose to complain doesn't mean that we can just ignore their sentiment and believe that everything will be auspicious. It is not good enough to offer the opportunity of many services without offering the opportunity to bathe the deities. We are not supposed to be ostriges, but top the class of persons - vaishnavas. I hope and pray that the silly, nonsensical objections will stop and a genuine attempt be made to allow all of Srila Prabhupada's disciples and as many grand disciples as possible to bathe Sri Sri Pancha-tattva. This will inaugurate a new arra of cooperation in the mood of Lord Caitanya's congregational Sankirtana Movement. your servant, Padmalochan das PS: It is very strange that on the 22nd the same management can arrange abhishek for Srila Prabhupad, which will be performed by all GBCs, sanyasis, Srila Prabhupada's disciples and donors but cant do for Pancha-tattva.
