Guest guest
This letter is written by Vrindavan Lila dasi ------------ My dear, very-very dear person, my Guru Maharaj, Please accept my humble obeisancies in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! Also dear GBC members, Hare Krishna! Please accept my humble obeisancies. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! Hare Krishna! I am writing this strait after hearing the GBC report in the pandal this morning. I probably should of been quiet like many devotees, who I know feeling the same, but being a week woman I can not suffer quietly, I want to cry. You all such wonderful devotees, who have done and still doing so much wonderful service to Srila Prabhupada, were sitting on that stage just now, speaking in enthusiastic voices about things which meant to kill any enthusiasm and faith, whatever left, in general 'small time' ISKCON devotees hearts. My heart filled with fear and pain and I could not hold myself from crying. And I am crying now too... I was listening and thinking: "How is this possible? How all you wonderful devotees got to such a point that you can just sit and talk LIKE THIS to the devotees, who suppose to look up to you for the spiritual shelter? What made you to become so hypocritical?" We have a written prove of Bhakti Purusottama Swami promising devotees that they will be able to bathe the big Pancha-tattva deities. Yet it all suddenly changed back to old merciless decision...and declared today... This is not about pouring water on top of the deity, this is not about being on the stage and seeing...Not about any of that. This is about the MOOD that we put at the time of installation, which will stay in Deity for the generations of worshipers. It is like making a child - the consciousness of parents during conception will make a certain type of soul to come. Lord is unlimited, He has unlimited moods, so He will manifest a mood in the deity according to our state of consciousness! According to how we receiving Him... I BEG YOU... and BEG YOU... and BEG YOU ALL, along with so many others, who do not wish to openly say it, - PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE... allow the mood of openness and mercy to flow and overwhelm all assembled vaishnavas and fill their hearts with joy and happiness on this most special day of installing Deities of SUCH GREAT IMPORTANCE !!! for the whole world...Please allow everyone who wants to bathe to do it...! Please allow us all be happy on this day. Krishna will reciprocate with you all in the most unique way! He is always most happy with anyone who invites and welcomes Srimati Radharani - that means SERVICE and the most important of all is to GIVE that opportunity, that chance to others to love and feel loved, that is Radharani's mood. Laxmi always falls behind, she simply trying to cutch up, - so, don't worry! She will be there in Her full presence! Such programs as telling the devotees to donate and give their energy and time, but not reciprocating with them in an appropriate way, will fail for sure. Krishna won't take such ungratefulness easy! It is not that only donors of money pleasing Him. So many devotees risked their lives for service and did amassing things! You have announced Sridhara Maharaja to bathe, and it is great! But what about Bhavananda Prabhu? He put immense energy in serving Mayapur in early days - wasn't it service to Pancha-tattva??? What about so many others, by whose efforts it is even possible to have this facility today ??? Did anyone even thought to invite and pay for Achutananda Prabhu to come on such ocasion ??? Why do you forget so easily??? When I met with some members of Malik family in Kolkata they still remember Achutananda Prabhu and other devotees who Srila Prabhupada brought with Him to preach in India! Why do ISKCON devotees forget? At the present there are also quite a few devotees keeping this place going with a lot of personal effort - why should they be denied to bathe ? What about book distributors, who actually carry Lord Caitanyas mission up front - why should they be not allowed to bathe ??? It CAN BE ARRANGED very practically and with not much more effort than it takes already. Let pujaries do their work and let everyone else to participate too. I am sorry for such long letter. Please be so kind to me and do not misinterpreted it. Please do not think I am trying to criticize you. I LOVE YOU ALL. Really. I do not mean at all to say bad things to or about you. You are such wonderfull devotees of Srila Prabhupada, I am very much oblige to have your association. But I did feel very hurt by your GBC presentation today. Hare Krishna! your servant, Vrindavan Lila dd
