After leaving the temple we took Srila Sridhar Swami to Srila Prabhupadhas Samadhi, where Bhakti Caru Swami lead kirtan for about one hour. At about 3 o’clock we carried Sridhar Swami to the place where his body was to be placed in Samadhi, just next to Srila Tamal Krsna Goswamis Samadhi. We offered aratika and bhoga and then made impressions of his feet, next we placed maharajas body into the Samadhi. Sridhar Swami was placed in the Samadhi sitting in asana facing Srila Prabhupada’s Samadhi. After performing the puja's we covered his body first with salt then with mud. There was ecstatic kirtan throut. As we arrived at the Samadhi spot, HH Gopal Krishna Goswami and HH Lokanath Swami arrived just in time to offer their respects to Sridhara Swami before he was placed into his Samadhi. Also HH Subhag Swami arrived shortly after. The entire Samadhi ceremony was completed by 5PM. This evening there is kirtana in the room, where Sridhar swami was residing and tomorrow morning at 8AM, in Radha-Madhava’s temple the devotees will gather to hear memories of Srila Sridhara Swami.
