Don't take initiation from such a bogus guru! A bona fide guru never says "I am a pure devotee. It's only my body that is doing the nonsense". But the body of a bona fide guru can get sick (physically or mentally), and that is no reason to consider him fallen. On November 14, 1977 to us it seemed that the body of Srila Prabhupada stopped chanting Hare Krishna.
