I do not want to force you to do anything Prabhu. One basic right every living entity has got is the freedom to choose whether he wants to know or forget Krishna. Taking to real spiritual life means taking to the path which takes us back to Krishna...and that is on a voluntary basis. So, it is entirely upon you what you want to do and will do. As far as Srila Prabhupada and Iskcon is concerned: I accept that Srila Prabhupada is a bonafide spiritual master in the Brahma Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampradaya and He is the Founder Acharya of Iskcon, the movement that is meant to give every living entity on this planet the opportunity to progress in spiritual life. As we have witnessed, the disciples who forcibly tried to take His position, imitating HDG terribly blundered....Others are hoping of course to do better!!!! Being a member of Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON, when I can understand that the desire of His Divine Grace is not being followed, this causes me distress and I feel helpless at not being able to explain others that Srila Prabhupada DID establish a Ritvik Initiation System, which would ensure that ISKCON followers would receive shelter of His lotus feet directly as the Guru who will deliver them to Krishna. It was Srila Prabhupada's desire that his faithful disciples help him in that mission, not that they define a mission according to their own understanding and follow that. If you want to take initiation from a person you can talk to and many others seem to have the same feeling......does that mean that it was Srila Prabhupada's duty to leave behind "living gurus you can talk to" ? Are you saying that was SRILA PRABHUPADA'S OBLIGATION? So yes, determined by who? your servant, Krishna Priya dd
