Guest guest
I came to the conclusion that by "initiation" the ritvik followers mean something different than all (or most) of Srila Prabhupada's disciples. The definition according to the ritvik followers is: "Initiation" means "following the instruction of a guru". A physical interaction is not required. The guru does not have to do anything. If you use this definition, then I agree that anyone who is following Srila Prabhupada's instructions is an "initiated disciple" of Srila Prabhupada. But that is not what I have been told what initiation is. I have learned that initiation is like a contract between the guru and the disciple. The disciple promises to follow the instructions of the guru. And the guru promises to guide the disciple back to Krishna and take the karma from the disciple. The guru does more than the disciple. ys Ramakanta dasa
