Guest guest
Dear Ramakanta prabhu. Pamho. AGTSP. Sorry for the delay in replying to your response. I have been distracted by other pressuring obligations and not been able to attend to my mail. You wrote: > I want to go back to Krishna and wanted to take initiation from a > physically present guru (as it has been done in the past by every devotee > except very rare case like the gopis). But you say that this is not > possible in ISKCON. So do I have to go to Narayana Maharaja? Why cannot you accept Srila Prabhupada as Your DELIVERING DIKSA GURU, by accepting the principle he established? You can regard any senior Vaishnava as Siksa Guru and have the kind of personal interaction you refer to. What use is in going to Narayana Maharaja - Just another eager individual who wants to reap the fruits that are rightfully Srila Prabhupada's? Are you dedicated to Srila Prabhupada and His Mission? Or are you simply looking for a "spiritual master"? For there is big difference between accepting * any * spiritual master and accepting Srila Prabhupada, I should think... > > If you want to take initiation from a person you can talk to and many > > others seem to have the same feeling......does that mean that it was > > Srila Prabhupada's duty to leave behind "living gurus you can talk to" ? > > Srila Prabhupada did not have to do that, but he did. He did and he did not... No one can ever replace Srila Prabhupada as the Sole Diksa Guru of Iskcon. I see all attempts by trying individuals as the results of complete misunderstanding of Srila Prabhupada's very clearly defined Ritvik Order. What I am left to wonder is: Are these people really so stupid or are they ACTING stupid??? Who shall say? Am I sounding "Offensive"? My apologies if I am.......but personally I am little tired of this unwillingness on behalf of the Vaishnavas to accept Srila Prabhupada's Order re Continued Diksa in ISKCON. Personally, I am past the stage of enquiring and and thank everyone who helped me in making up my mind. I am convinced that Srila Prabhupada DID establish the RITVIK SYSTEM and I shall therefore adhere to that principle, whatever the consequences... At this stage I wish to withdraw from actively participating on this conference. I will continue reading whenever time allows me to and wish you all all good luck in pursuing your own conviction.
